Neither Fear Nor Favor
The Life and Legacy of Conchita Carpio Morales

By Jose Dalisay

Neither Fear Nor Favor chronicles the life of Conchita Carpio Morales, the fierce defender of Philippine sovereignty, a key figure in two Chief Justices impeachments, armed with a dedication to public office that purged the Ombudsman's backlog of corruption cases.

From her modest beginnings in Paoay, Ilocos Norte, Carpio Morales's crusade against corruption echoes in the halls of the highest court of the land and a lifetime dedicated to the pursuit of justice for the Filipino.

A limited hardcover edition of this book, written by the master storyteller Jose Dalisay, will be available to the public.

SO HEAVEN: A NOVEL

Isagani R. Cruz

"This racy novel on the lives and loves of zillionaire publishing genius Danny Livingstone captivates the reader with the psychological range and depth of the author’s presentation of the preoccupations and motivations of its nine characters: the ones alive on earth like Danny, Annie, Christine, George and Faith, and the denizens of heaven like Jose Rizal as ‘Joe,’ the 19th century metaphysical poet Emily Dickinson as ‘Emily,’ the Renaissance playwright William Shakespeare as ‘Bill,’ and the shape-shifting omniscient ‘Lord.’" -Marjorie Evasco
